Chicago is a tale of two cities.

We are one of the great cities of the world, yet violence, poverty, and a lack of opportunity plague too many of our neighborhoods. Young African Americans in Chicago are six times more likely than whites to be unemployed and out of school. Our young people of color want to work. But there aren’t nearly enough jobs for them.

It’s time to write a new story.

The AGB Foundation is blasting barriers to educational access and professional opportunities for young Chicagoans in underserved areas.

2017 Scholars and 2017 Summer Business Interns

2017 AGB scholars

Introducing our 2017 Scholars and 2017 Summer Business Interns.

We awarded (3) $1500 Scholarships and (4) $500 Supplemental Scholarships to these graduating seniors.  We are very excited to see how their future unfolds.

Our (4) Summer Business Interns will spend 6-weeks learning the fundamentals of a entrepreneur and the essentials of running a business.  They couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity.

AGB Helps Homeless Families

Our AGB Community Service Day on April 13, 2017, benefited homeless children and their families. We served 100 home-cooked meals and care packages to families at the Feed, Clothe and Help the Needy shelter in Englewood

We are creating life changing opportunities for Chicago youth and inspiring the next generation of business leaders.
