Program Goals

Workforce Development

Exposure to a professional environment and opportunities to make connections can change the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our AGB Business Internship has impacted hundreds of students, teaching them invaluable business and communication skills and exposing them to minority entrepreneurs and professionals.

Financial Wellness

The AGB Foundation is working to close the racial wealth gap between black and white households. We provide educational seminars, as well as the Secure Podcast, on a range of business and financial topics for young minority professionals, and direct assistance to families experiencing a crisis. Our goal is to help people of color improve their financial security and quality of life.

Philanthropy

We believe in giving back to communities in need and providing financial support to deserving students for higher education. Our foundation has awarded more than $55K in scholarships to help young people of color achieve their dreams. We’ve also provided direct assistance to numerous nonprofit organizations in vulnerable Chicago neighborhoods.
