Summer Business Internship
The AGB Foundation developed the Summer Business Internship program to inspire young Chicagoans from minority backgrounds to develop and pursue their professional goals.
We are committed to sharing the talents of successful executives with deserving high school and college students. Our paid internships pair motivated students with professionals in privately-owned businesses, nonprofits, and public organizations. Our interns are exposed to the internal operations of an organization as they shadow professionals, attend team and client meetings, and receive training to complete a variety of assignments.
We believe that by showing these young people what is possible, we can help instill in them the confidence and discipline they will need to succeed. Our ultimate goal is to train the next generation of business owners, who will pay it forward by reinvesting in Chicago youth and our struggling neighborhoods.
