Summer Business Internship Applications Close April 7

Motivated young high school and college students in Chicago are invited to apply for the 2023 AGB Summer Business Internship. This robust, six-week paid internship experience pairs qualified students with successful businesses, nonprofits, and public organizations that are minority operated or owned. The exposure is meant to inspire Chicago youth to pursue their own goals for entrepreneurship and professional success.

Students selected for the summer program will be expected to work no more than 30 hours per week. Interns will be assigned to an organization with a mentor employee who will supervise their training, assignments, and evaluation. Interns will spend approximately one week in a department before rotating into a different division, so that they are exposed to the internal operations of the organization.

The intern selection process is rigorous, and all answers on the application should reflect the candidate’s best writing. From the application pool, candidates will be selected for interviews before the interns are chosen and placed.

The AGB Summer Business Internship is managed by the AGB Foundation, a charitable wing of AGB Investigative Services. AGB stands for “Always Giving Back.” The foundation seeks to inspire minority youth, recruit young leaders, reward motivated students, and prepare the next generation of the workforce.
